okay so part of my application to get into rmit fine arts was to tell them what i want to do for my future, that i'm not sure of completely so i just wrote "fashion photographer", lame and cliche i know but anyway. because of this i decided to do some practice photoshoots with my friends;

hai dere,
lately i've been trapped in my room studying for my end of year exams and have had no time to go and take photos, other than random ones of stationary on my desk

so i thought i'd chuck on some old shots, today's theme is disposable photos

so school is finally over, with the execption of exams that is
anyway, my school had their "muck up day" on tuesday and with all the beautiful costumes around me, i had to take some snaps! enjoy

canon 5D

sorry for the lack of updates lately, not that anyone even sees this blog, but amazing news, I GOT A CANON 5D and a 50mm lens, life is grand at the moment,

however, I am currently studying for exams, so i've only taken a few photos with my newest pride and joy,
here are the best two

oh hai again,
so i'm on holidays and instead of preparing for my exams i've decided to start a new "hobby" folio.

so far i've only got one photo in there, it's of mitchell on a bike, here it is

for my next shoots, i'm planning on doing a magazine like photo shoot with my friends and focusing on their makeup and fashion. but that'll be after exams

final art piece ever

hey all!
long time no! not that anyone reads this but i like to pretend people do
anyway, for my final art work for year 12 i decided to focus on youth portraits. for my "technique exploration" i decided to trial with double exposures on a TLR manual camera. this was actually quite fun as they were all posed photos and i felt like a magazine photographer for a few hours, anyway here they are! note one of them didn't work so i had to photoshop it

so these are my models; chloe (photoshoped), caitlin, gabrielle, jim, jonathon, madison, mitchell and sebastian.

for the actual piece i printed all these shots on 4 x 4 prints and cut a long mount and placed them all from girl to boy (light to dark then back to light). the bloody mount took forever to cut but i made only three mistakes but the end look perfect :)

i'm at home, ill :( so to fill my day i decided to take some photos around my house in preparation for my third assessment piece (youth portraits), here they are!

i think i'll take my portraits in day light considering they have the nicest lighting
